Praise and prayer November 2009
A time of changes
In mid October we dedicated our daughter Congregation – Shaar HaEmek. A few families moved there to start the new Congregation, which left us in some shortage. One of our greatest prayer requests is that we could quickly fill in the gap created with the departure of Shaar HaEmek; that more people could take upon themselves the jobs, the tasks and chors, that should be taken (Shabbat school teachers, kitchen ministry, more people for the Praise Ministry, translation etc’). Please continu to remember the new leadership team; we try to meet biweekly for prayer and discussions about Congregation affairs.
Youth Work.
Our youth group includes, in effect, ages 13-23. That span is obviously not ideal and we want, as written before, to start a new group. Currently we have a meeting of all of that group biweekly and starting this month the older yout will start to gather once a month, under M’s leadership.
Vehicle
Please remember the vehicle issue in your prayers. The van, in spite of fixing it, is giving us problems; in order of buying a new one we must first sell the old one, but we have no potential buyers at the moment.
Evangelism
Two of out youth, ages 16 and 17, continu to go every Thursday to the central bus station to talk to people, especially soldiers, about Yeshua. Please remember them in prayer that God will open the doors for them to evangelize and that they’ll see fruit.
Gathering of the Galilee Congregations
The traditional gathering, which was supposed to take place in Lavee Forest, took place in Ohalei Rachamim (Tents of mercy) Congregation, due to heavy (and blessed) rainfall. Quite a large number of people crowded together in the hall, the hosting was blessed and so were the fellowship and the spirit of unity among us. Especially exciting was singin together “Behold how good and how pleasant it is when brothers dwell together in unity” at the end of the meeting. The feeling of unity we have in Yeshua, thanks to all He has done for us, and in spite of all the differences between us – the Lord has made us into one and that is the most wonderful thing.
I was asked, by the group of organizers of the egathering to give the main message, and spoke about “gathering treasures in heaaven”, “for where your treasure is there will also be your heart”. (Mat 6:19-33).

Blessings, in God
